Hailstorm – Coup de grêle

photo_59_grele
A hailstorm is always great to see but not so good for budding nature when spring is already upon us in late February this year in Blois. [Translator’s note: not nearly as poetic as Jean Michel’s but I don’t seem to be very inspired tonight!)
Beau décor de grêle pour les yeux mais mauvais pour la nature renaissante précoce en cette fin février à Blois.

Well, of course, it’s always going to sound more poetic in French ! Those daffodils do look a little despondent after all that hail. We didn’t get any of that over here in Amboise. I’m inferring that Jean Michel took this photo… I say well done !

Yes, I guess French is a more poetic language … Yes, Jean Michel took the photo. He’s starting to fnid time to contribute more often. He also took the washhouse and the peacock.
