We stopped off at Chenonceau on our way back from Nantes today and took our favourite walk along the bike path on the other side of the Cher. As majestic as ever!

It is such a beautiful structure!
This is one of my favourite of the many châteaux in the Loire.
And I will add that the English Tour guide pamphlet that they give to show you around is one of the best for clarity and details.
They must have used a proper translator!
