A Blue Brolly – Un parapluie particulier

Don’t you just love this umbrella for the urban cyclist? We saw this in our cycle shop in Orleans yesterday. Not that the Dutch need a special attachment. When we visited Amsterdam many years ago, I thought they were great riding along in their suits and holding an umbrella in one hand and sometimes a bouquet of flowers in the other!
Vous ne trouvez pas ce parapluie génial pour le cycliste urbain? Nous l’avons vu hier dans notre magasin de vélo à Orléans. Les Néerlandais, par contre, n’ont pas besoin d’une fixation spéciale. Lorsque nous avons visité Amsterdam il y a bien des années, j’ai admiré leur capacité de faire du vélo en costume-cravate tout en tenant un parapluie dans une main et souvent un bouquet de fleurs dans l’autre !
