Day #23 Postcard from Germany – Goslar

Goslar, 35 km south of Wolfenbüttel, is said to have 1000 Renaissance houses. When we arrived by bike today from Bad Harzburg where we are staying the town was teeming with people attending an enormous arts and crafts fair. There were three downpours while we were there but the sun came out again each time and didn’t seem to discourage the crowds!
La ville de Goslar, qui se trouve à 35 km au sud de Wolfenbüttel, aurait 1000 maisons Renaissance. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés aujourd’hui en provenance de notre location à Bad Harzburg, il y avait beaucoup de monde attiré par une importante foire artisanale. Il y avait trois averses pendant qu’on y était mais chaque fois le soleil a brillé de nouveau et la foule ne semblaient pas découragée.
