Covid Confinement Day 21


I nearly walked on this fellow today. With the first rain in ages the snails were out in droves.
There was another death in our area today bringing the total up to 13 while the total of new deaths in France today was 833. We are still waiting for the peak.
The certificate required by anyone going outside the home is now available on our smartphone as many people did not have access to a printer.

J’ai failli marcher sur ce beau spécimen aujourd’hui. Avec la première pluie depuis un moment, les escargots étaient tous de sortie.
Il y avait un décès de plus en Loir-et-Cher aujourd’hui ce qui fait un total de 13 tandis que le nombre de nouveaux décès en France était 833. Nous attendons toujours le pic.
L’attestation de sortie exceptionnelle est désormais disponible sur nos smartphones car beaucoup de personnes n’avaient pas d’accès à une imprimante.

And if someone doesn’t have access to a smart phone? Something about that distresses me. But then I must cheer myself up by your photo of escargot. A fat handsome one he is.

Judith, you don’t have to use a smart phone – it’s an alternative to the printed or handwritten certificate which is also freely available at the town hall and other places.
