As we are still in lockdown with restaurants closed since last October, I had my second birthday at home today. We usually dine in a Michelin starred restaurant and often go away for a few days to celebrate. But Jean Michel ordered gourmet takeaway from L’Orangerie du Château that arrived in the boxes below. It was delicious!
Puisqu’on est encore confiné et les restaurants sont fermés depuis octobre j’ai passé mon deuxième anniversaire à la maison. On a l’habitude de fêter dans un restaurant étoile et de passer quelques jours en dehors de chez nous. Mais Jean Michel a commandé un repas gastronomique à l’Orangerie du Château qu’il est allé chercher dans le conditionnement ci-dessous. C’était délicieux!

Happy birthday! I would be more than happy to celebrate my birthday in your garden with this menu, but then I haven’t been in Lockdown. I hear things are still not improving.
Thank you Helen. It seems that we have got over the propagation peak. Strict lockdown will end on 3rd May and restaurant terraces will open mid-May. By the end of this week, 25% of the population will have had at least on jab. We will see what happens.
