Leccinum griseum – Bolet rude des charmes

photo_219_bolet_charmes
Yesterday, we found our first leccinum carpini in the little wood behind our house. The taste of this boletus is nothing sensational but it still enhanced the taste of our omelette.

@William Then I won’t go mushroom hunting with you! Seriously, the bolets (the ones with spores underneath) are all edible.
@Stuart It seems there are girolles not far from us so we’re hoping to find some next time.
