No, this is not the Loire Valley, but Poitevin Marsh, on the Atlantic Coast, just north of La Rochelle, where we are cycling for 3 days. Don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from me every day!
Non, ce n’est pas la vallée de la Loire mais le marais poitevin sur la côte atlantique au nord de La Rochelle où nous faisons du vélo pendant trois jours. Ne soyez pas surpris de ne pas avoir de mes nouvelles tous les jours.

The area around La Rochelle is our area of choice for short breaks too. Super relaxing and calm, nothing to do but eat oysters 🙂
We would have liked some bigger ones but in Baie de l’Aiguillon we didn’t seem to have much choice. We have memories of superb oysters every day at Ile de Ré.
Quite a pretty spot!
I agree.
I love the light – morning? I’ve just had 4 glorious days walking.
Sunset in fact (we don’t get up that early especially on holidays). I’ll go over and check your Bribie Island post.
