I’ve actually overstepped the first anniversary of Blois Daily Photo which was  25th July. I can’t say I’ve never missed a day – in fact I’ve missed about ten – but it’s been a challenge finding a daily photo when I don’t live in Blois permanently and I try to respect the seasons. It started as a dual project but Jean Michel prefers to leave it to me until we move at the end of October.

Thank you, first of all, to my most regular commenters – William from Ottawa Daily Photo, Stuart from Amboise Daily Photo and Susan from Days on the Claise, to my occasional commenters and to the silent majority of readers. I hope I didn’t bore you with my photos of Venice and Germany but it seemed too much of a challenge to kept posting photos of Blois when absent for an entire month! I thought this photo was appropriate but I want you to guess why! The clue is in my other blog, Aussie in France.

    Got it!

BTW, I saw those wolves in the movie and absolutely loved them (the whole movie is fun too — a nice one for French comprehension prac). I searched everywhere to find out where they really were and found nothing. Much much later I found your blog post on them, but by then they were long gone. Any idea where they are now? They are so evocative.

@William and Susan – Surprising, huh?

@Susan – I tried to find out where they’ve gone but there is no indication anywhere.
