La Jama Masjid (grande mosqué), la plus grande en Inde, était construite en 1650 au coeur du Vieux Delhi et peut accueillir 25 000 fidèles devant le bâtiment principal. Les trois dômes en marbre blanc strité de noir tranchent sur le grès rouge du reste de l’édifice.
