Certains vignobles en Moselle près de Bernkastel sont presque verticaux et descendent jusqu’au bord de l’eau. I wonder what variety of grapes like this slope. Maybe the chenin blanc as here. They must be happy. @William – neat, isn’t it? @Stuart – most of the grapes in the Moselle area are riesling. The vines are very tall, like those in Alsace and Luxembourg, unlike the vines in the Loire which, as you know, are squat. Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
