I have never seen a window like the one in the middle of this photo, that is, a mullion window (with a cross-piece) above a door. From the surrounding stone, it looks like it is an original feature. Taken in Vienne in Blois.

This beautiful mullion window is on the south-east façade of Blois Castle. On the right is the porcupine which, you may remember is the symbol of King Louis XII, born in the castle in 1462. His motto was “Qui s’y frotte s’y pique” which is a play on words: se frotter means both literally to rub up against something and metaphorically to cross swords with them; se piquer means to be pricked.
Cette belle fenêtre à meneau se trouve sur la façade sud-est du château de Blois. A droite le porc épic, l’emblème de Louis XII, né au château en 1462 et dont le devise était “Qui s’y frotte s’y pique”.
